A wildflower imprinted on fabric like a seal made by light and matter.
The work highlights the movement of the flowers and the shifting linearity from stem to stem. The raw fabric with its frayed edges adds another layer. It, too, is linear. It, too, has a border that was chosen not to complete.

This is a technique that allows light to inscribe the plants directly onto the fabric, creating a meditation on the dialogue between negative and positive that the technique produces.

The fabric is presented in a distinctive framing form. It arrives inside an American walnut wood box. The depth of the box gives the work a gallery character and makes it a striking design element.
