PRESSED FLOWERS ON CERAMICS

These round ceramic tiles are made in collaboration with ceramicist Yifat Verchik Peretz of Studio Mud. The tiles come in earthy tones — terracotta, gray, black, and white — each chosen as a background for the pressed flowers I place on them by hand, using the same delicate adhesion technique as my other original works. The pairing of clay color and flower color is intentional. Each combination highlights something different in the flower. Designed to hang on a wall using a suede cord that connects to the tile and blends with the overall palette.
