Flowers from Tyrol

Glass frame, size 6x6 cm.

Original dried flower inlaid inside.

Comes in a cardboard package.

Inside the cardboard box is a label with the flower name, collection location, and date.

 

On-screen colors may not perfectly match the colors of the flower and the clay tile.

Avoid hanging or placing in direct sunlight to prevent accelerated fading of the flower colors.

Once press-dried, flowers retain their shape but may undergo a slow, natural color shift based on their unique shade.

I recommend visiting the blog to explore 19th-century botanical souvenir books; flowers dried using this same technique have preserved their beauty for over 150 years.

Some works may incorporate protected wildflowers—these were grown in my private wild garden; others are cultivated flowers that were purchased and dried.
